Lincolnshire Walking Group

The Lincolnshire Walking group was formed in March 2004. We are a local group of the Ramblers Association aimed for people from their 20s upwards in Lincolnshire. We hold regular walks and social events across the county. We are a group of people who are keen to enjoy the outdoors, breathe the fresh air and enjoy the countryside around us. Many of us were first introduced to countryside walking through this Group. Our walks range from 6 miles to 14 miles. New starters are welcome (we would recommend you join our shorter walks to build up your stamina first).

Membership of our group (group code LI50) requires that you become a paid up member of the Ramblers charity for walkers. As an added bonus, this means you will be welcome to join any of the hundreds of group walks across the country.

You do not need to join the Ramblers straight away, just turn up, give us a try, and then if you want to join us, speak to one of the group leaders who will usually have an application form close at hand. Its a great way to chill out, keep fit and meet new friends. For more information on how to join please view our Join Us page.

They have been looking after Britain's footpaths and defending its beautiful countryside for 75 years by protecting Britain's unique network of public paths -- all too often, they are illegally blocked, obstructed and overgrown. The Ramblers' Association works with local authorities to make them a pleasure to walk on, providing information to help you plan your walk and enjoy it in safety and comfort. increasing access for walkers.

The Ramblers has about 500 local groups across Great Britain, organised into around 50 Areas. The Ramblers is not affiliated to any political party and is required by its constitution to be non-sectarian. The Ramblers is a democratic, voluntary organisation, registered as a charity (no. 1093577) and as a company limited by guarantee (registered in England and Wales, no. 4458492). In 2009 the Ramblers' Association re-branded to Ramblers
